Alison did an amazing portrait of Yeager, the skill she has is just outstanding. From how it was possible to recognise him from the outline drawing to the end product, words don’t really express how talented she is. If you ever decide to commission a portrait you will never be disappointed; Yeager’s portrait received countless compliments.

I got to know Ali, through a mutual friend and after having the opportunity to view her illustrations first hand, I knew I had to have a commission of our beloved German Shepherd, Phoebe.
I recently moved out and Phoebe came with me, much to the disappointment of my brother. It was a happy coincidence that he would be celebrating his 30th Birthday in January and we decided to commission this illustrations to keep him company when Phoebe is not around.
Ali was extremely helpful every step of the way, offering professional advice on which reference to use and the type of wood for used for the frame etc.
When we adopted Phoebe, we soon realised she had an obsession for tennis balls, footballs and anything else that resembles a round shape. She has a keen nose for them and has many a time dragged us into a bush, to reappear with a ball in her mouth and grinning ear from ear!
Ali has been able to capture the ball obsessed, fun loving, yet regal character of Phoebe and my brother could not be more ecstatic with his gift!

My family commissioned Alison to draw portraits of the four horses we owned when my girls were growing up. Although these horses technically belonged to my daughters, they were so special to me and I loved them very much. So you see, this gift was very very special to me. I am thrilled beyond words with these portraits and I shall treasure them forever. I think their personalities have been captured perfectly. I love that they are now on my wall and I get to see our treasured companions every day.

What can I say other than how lucky I was to have come across Alison’s website. We had Alison do 4 renderings of our cats. To say she captured their personalities is an understatement. They have come alive and just to be able to remember them in their prime is a gift in itself. I would highly recommend Alison to anyone wanting to immortalise their beloved pets!

I am so thankful and happy I chose Alison to commission a portrait of my Jimmy who passed in March 22. During a low time for me she has been wonderful, nothing is ever too much and communication has been fantastic. I now have a beautiful quality piece of art that I cannot put into words what it means to me. Alison has literally put my Jimmy’s soul into her work! I cannot recommend her enough, she is fantastic

For over 10,000 years, Britain has been home to Red Squirrels.
It’s rare now to see a russet furry fellow climbing the trees. There are only about 140,000 left, sighted mostly in northern England, Scotland and Wales. Grey squirrels were introduced to England from North America and sadly is a huge factor in the decline of our native species, as greys carry Squirrelpox and this is fatal to our red friends.
Red squirrels don’t hibernate, either - so they rely on their hard work burying their food in the ground throughout the year. They spend much of their time in tree canopies, and as our beloved woodlands are slowly decreasing, it is so disheartening that their natural habitat is being ripped away.
I made the decision to offer my skills to help support conservation efforts for our planet. This is incredibly important to me, and to the rest of us. 10% of the original portrait proceeds will go towards Rewilding Europe.
My original, hand-drawn, coloured-pencil portrait of a red squirrel; Regis. Characterfully named by a wonderful client after selling her story about a squirrel that made a nest in her back garden!

750,000.
That’s how many plains zebras we have left in our wild. Maybe that seems like a lot. Maybe they’re not as threatened as some other of our planet’s species. But their population has decreased by 24% since 2002, according to IUCN. Considering their gestation length is 10 years, that’s only within 2 generations.
If we were talking about the human race, that’s a loss of 1.8 billion people in just under 20 years.
I made the decision to offer my skills to help support conservation efforts for our planet. This is incredibly important to me, and to the rest of us. 10% of the original portrait proceeds will go towards African Wildlife Foundation (AWF).

Fly Agaric, a fairy-tale mushroom known for it’s bright red surface and white spots. Incredibly poisonous and hallucinogenic to us, this fungus is edible for some woodland wildlife including red squirrels - a good tasty snack for Regis!
